Leupold has been pushing the boundaries with their red dot selection to ensure that the shooter gets the best performance from their optics. At first their red dot required a special mount set up now with the DeltaPoint Micro all you need is the existing dovetail cut for the rear sight on the slide. This nifty little optic is meant to replace the rear sight it has a 3MOA red dot reticle and a simple push bush button interface. The sight has 8 illumination settings and if the optic does run out of battery it can be used like a ghost ring sight in a pinch. The red dot is also enclosed against the elements bringing that same Leupold dependability to a pistol optic. In all this optic share the Leupold vision of dependable user friendly optics.
