Outdoor Report for 10/13
Big wind and rain is headed towards the Northwest. Before the weather hits us we had some great Coastal tributary fishing for Chinook. Fishing behind the South jetty at Tillamook has also been good. Coho are biting in the North fork of the Lewis. Hover fisherman and trollers were catching Chinook and a few Coho at the mouth of the Klickitat. Trolling below Bonneville remained consistent. Smallmouth bass are biting well in the gorge. Focus on deep water and use soft plastics for success in catching these hard fighting fish. The high winds and rain forecasted, should knock off leaves and help both Cascade and coastal deer and Elk hunters with viability. Check regulations before fishing or hunting. Tight lines and shoot straight.
