Outdoor Report for 12/1
Some colder weather has finally come down from the North and the rain is abating this weekend. That signals some early Winter Steelhead fishing on the coast and Columbia River tributaries as they drop and clear. Reports of some nice Chrome are coming out of the North Coast already. Watch the river levels and make your plans accordingly. The colder weather has also improved the areas duck hunting. Reports from Eastern Washington indicate a strong migration push is happening. The Sauvie Island harvest numbers from 12/1 showed an increase of 1 bird per hunter which put the average at 2.5 birds per hunter. Most of the success has come from the roam units with big water flooding into the trees. Check regulations before heading out and good luck!
