The Frogg Toggs Pilot 3 Guide Jacket is constructed with DriPore 2 Gen breathable technology which keeps moisture out while letting heat escape, preventing the wearer from getting too warm. The material is 100% waterproof with fully sealed seams keeps moisture out. Drop shoulder design is included for great range of motion and freedom of movement. The jacket also has dual multiuse chest pockets with drain eyelets and keyhole patches on pocket flaps that provide ample storage. Dual handwarmer/storage pockets at bottom of jacket and internal chest pocket with zip closure provide added storage.

The outer layer of the jacket is a Teflon DWR-coated polyester that is durable, breathable, lightweight, abrasion-resistant and supple. The middle layer is made with DriPore Gen 2. It is waterproof (>15,000mm waterproof) for extreme water holdout, provides maximum breathability (>10,000 MVTR breathability), and is ultra-flexible and lightweight. The inner layer is composed of soft, smooth and cool micro-textured tricot fabric that reduces skin contact for a light, cool wearing experience.
