The Green Drake fly, among the Drunella species of mayfly, displays upright wings and a rich green color. These mayflies have larger wings when compared to smaller mayflies. They are often found in slow pools and streams. Making easy prey for fish, the wings can take a long period to dry on the surface of the water before enabling flight.
