The Purple Parachute Adams imitates a variety of adult mayflies such as BWOs, Mahogany Duns, Green Drakes, and Tricos. This versatile pattern serves as a great attractor of trout. The Parachute Adams has a highly visible post for anglers to track. The colors on the spectrum between blue and red are most visible to fish. Trout will see this PA in purple as a brighter color than we do and much brighter than a green color fly. So why not add a little purple and help your chances of a fish snatching your fly.
